documn
This is something I posted on the Bethsoft forums. Didn't get a solution over there so I hope I'll get one here! I converted the vanilla male greaves to fit HGEC EBE, but ingame sometimes the greaves look funky. The effect is most noticeable when it's foggy and I'm near a light source.http://s1010.photobucket.com/albums/af222/documn/?action=view¤t=iron4.jpg&newest=1They also look unusually dark sometimes. Anybody know what the problem is and how to fix it?
Hickory
Did you create a normal map with the texture?
documn
I didn't touch the texture files at all. This is simply a remesh. By the way, the greaves don't always look like this. Most of the time they look normal.
Hickory
I'm no expert on creating new meshes, but doesn't a new mesh require a new texture and UV map?
McMutton
If the mesh merely had its vertices moved into a different shape it wouldn't need either. And you can always re-use a texture.
