Dracomies
Hi, I'm working on a mod and I'm trying to redesign some NPCs. I ran into a problem. I changed the race of "Signy Home-Wrecker" from Nord to Breton. I had to make the change because I"m finding it very difficult to design female characters with the Nord race. Here's the weird thing. When I see her and talk to her, the text comes out but the voice doesn't come out. http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/7922/signye.jpg But when I change the race back to Nord, the voice comes out. Is there a way to fix this?
LFact
Some dialogues are race specific, including unique dialogues(they do not have voice files for other races). So, it's not recommended to change NPC races. **If you want to change her face, you can do this:1. Make a face with SI Facegen Modeller.2. Make a new save with Nord female. Be sure to reset her face, then save and exit the game.3. Import Facegen face to your new save. via Facegen to Oblivion converter. Do not forget to force apply face shape(and don't change skin tones).4. Load the save, tweak imported face to make it look right.5. Make an empty plugin for importing saved face.6. Use Wrye Bash to export saved face to empty plugin.7. Load the plugin with Construction Set. You can copy and paste face from NPC to NPC.
Yamcakes
You can always copy the breton race, and rename the ID to 'NordBreton'. or something, and in the first tab of that race menu, you'll see two dropdown menus, that say the name of the race you just created. Change that to Nord.. Now this race race pulls voices from Nords. Now change Signy's race to said race.
