skyquest32
I tried uninstaling better vampires, I just have power of the blood and pale skin mods left besides the serena replacer and so can marry her. In desperation I deleted all the unoffical patches. I have no bounty. I Feed on followers 3 times, tried blood potion before with mod. Tried entering whiterun trough stables. Is it my vampire custom follower I downloaded off here? Is there a consol command to stop the guards from being insane? I'm there thane. I mean what the? The townspeople dont freak out guy even sold me a horse. Not in vampire lord form btw. he has undead tag btw, and vampire and glowing eyes. cdcooley
The Dawnguard hunt down and kill vampires. That's their sole mission in life. They don't care about bounties any more than the Thalmor, hired thugs, DB assassins, or the other enemies Bethesda adds to the game to harass the player. (If you weren't a vampire then it would be vampires attacking you instead of members of the Dawnguard.) Edit: Or maybe I mis-read what you were trying to say and it's guards attacking you when Dawnguard is installed. If so, sorry I don't know why that would happen. VolkiharFiend
I think this can happen when you kill someone innocent in a hold and travel near some guards right after you kill said person. You may not even have a bounty for them to attack you. Try to travel to a different hold and wait for a day or so and come back. They shouldn't be hostile. OR...I do know that in the vanilla game (without Dawnguard DLC) npcs will attack you if you haven't fed in 72 hours (3 days). Dawnguard changes this by making it to where npcs will never attack you when you're starving. I also know the Better Vampires mod changes this feature back to the vanilla style even with Dawnguard, so that might be your problem. The mod author did make it customizable so you can revert vampire hostility back to Dawnguard style (no hostility when starving). EDIT: Sorry, didn't read your post correctly. Vampire hostility isn't the problem here since only the guards are attacking you. I would say the problem is the hidden bounty I mentioned above, but I could be wrong. Have you attacked anyone recently? Try doing something to get a small bounty (steal a sweetroll or sum'n) then sheathe your weapon(s) and try to get them to confront you about your theft. If it works, pay off the bounty and it should be fixed. If all else fails it could be a wild bug or something to do with your mods. Good Luck. marat569
From what I've seen> Dawnguard attacks you no matter what.> If you are super duper hungry, guards will attack you (happened with stormcloaks) Oneday i was walking around, didn't know i was super hungry, stormcloak dudes were attacking me, kept turning off their attack alert via console but started to attack again, I used a Potion of Blood to "feed", and ran the console command again, and everything was good 1) You are super hungry2) Your follower is flagged wrong so he's always looked at as a hostile vampire. VolkiharFiend
I don't think it's hunger or follower vampire hostility since it's only the guards attacking him. Has to be something with a crime of some kind.
marat569
Try to go to jail maybe? Sheath your weapon and talk to them.
