werme3000
Let me start with What this mod will do, I will go in to detail later. It will add a new massive world 1.5 or 2 times the size and population of Cyrodii with 2 or 2.5 as many (open)cities. Combat, magic, and stealth will all be redone with new animations(western not JRPG-ish)along with new running, jumping, and mount animations and, mount Combat! There will be NO FAST TRAVEL, how ever there will be Ships, Carriages, Ect. that will allow you to travel safely For a (LARGE) fee (to push the idea of exploration). The lore will be unrelated to TES, WoW, D&D, and all other RPGs because it will have its own story. More info will be posted here
ub3rman123
Sorry, but that is a seriously huge project for one team to be doing, more so for one person alone. Would you consider scaling it down some? The thing is, many mods that just add parts of what you want to do took years on their own, like OpenCities, Midas Magic, and the various animation replacers, as well as combat overhauls. werme3000
I know all of this, i've been modding Oblivion for a while and making mods for other games for even longer I am a perfectionist I will see that my mod is made, Team or no team, even if no one plays Oblivion when I finish. It true i want to have a team, but I don't know any one who can mod Oblivion, any way at least the CS is easy to use and allows scripting, with out that this would be impossible. ub3rman123
Well, make sure to keep your work varied. The main thing that kills projects is boredom. If you spend all year building levels, you'll just get sick of it an quit. Do some worldbuilding one day, make some NPC's the next, etc.
