Kasmar
Does anybody know or has anybody heard if Dragon Age II will be modifiable??
Thandal
Short answer: Eventually. (My guess. No inside knowledge.) BioWare is on-record as stating that the DA2 Toolset is "essentially the same one, with some in-house updates", and that "the Community additions to the game are an important and valuable aspect." But seeing as how it's been about six months since the release of DA:A, and we still don't have the degree of access to its inner workings we already had with DA:O, I wouldn't hold my breath. Kaerar
Actually we can access DA:A Veteran_Gamer put up a tutorial on how to do it. Basically it means moving the DA:A gamedata to the correct folder (though there's a bit more to it). There are currently no plans to update the editor to support DA2, however that may change by release.
DarkeWolf
Some of these engine changes may also throw us for a loop. We are just now starting to figure out some of the more intricate ins and outs of modding the existing game. There's no telling what methods won't work with the updated engine. Or what we are going to have to re-re-relearn about modding the new game when it's released.
