schijnn
I'm just curious how other people handle quests that involve friendly NPCs as a stealthy archer type. I'm thinking in particular of most of the Main Quest, but the Fighters' Guild has a lot of escort quests, too. I run FCOM, so there are a *lot* more enemies around, and I seem to have a knack for hitting my allies. Any advice/suggestions/recommended mods would be appreciated. Thanks in advance! albonaut
Wow, honestly, I just let my comrades go down and then I try and pick off the enemies one by one. It's hard because NPC partners aren't completely intelligent (even if their intelligence is at 100 :) ), but there are some companion mods like CM, which I think has companions who will sneak at the same time you do. I don't play too much with a stealth character, but I can definitely understand what your talking about.
Kagemitsu
Whenever possible, have your companions go ahead and draw the enemy's attention, while you stay in the back and land sneak attacks like no other. Try flanking whenever possible, so you don't hit the friendly NPCs. Very often the crosshair will remain bright, because your companions know that you are there and see you, but very often the enemy does not, so even if the crosshair is bright you can land sneak attacks. I hope that helped. :P
