Dragongreatsword
I am looking for the disarm animation (the one when you have disarmed an npc), but I can't find the the file I am looking for. What animation takes place when you disarm an npc? What is file's name and location? Help would be greatly appreciated (with kudos), thanks in advance. Hickory
I don't think that there is a specific disarm animation. My guess is that you are looking for a 'recoil' or 'stagger' animation, such as OneHandRecoil.kf / OneHandStagger.kf (,.kf are animation files). All of the stock animations are stored in Oblivion - Meshes.bsa
Dragongreatsword
Thank you for the reply. I have reinstalled the animations in the meshes folder, but when I disarm an npc it grows in size and gets horribly disfigured (this lasts for 5 seconds). I have no problems with staggerin or recoiling (luckily). This problem is difficult to solve.
documn
Can you get a screenshot of this? Might give us a clue about why it's doing that. Are you running any mods that affect the disarm perk? Or are you disarming your enemies in some other way?
Dragongreatsword
Here is a screen: http://img839.imageshack.us/img839/7602/screenshot0p.png I am using deadly reflex and no other animation replacers. This happens when I disarm an npc with a powerstrike, I didn't have this problem before and I don't know how the animation during the disarming has disappeared. In summary when the npc gets disarmed it grows in size and gets horribly deformed, this probably means that an animation is missing.
Dragongreatsword
Anyways, I only need to know what animation plays when a npc gets disarmed, that way I can fix this problem.
Deleted1848331User
I can't even see that. Do you have a picture program to brighten it? Or maybe take it outside in the bright?
Dragongreatsword
Ok here is the clearer version, I hope you can see the problem, that thing is actually an npc... http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/5226/screenshot8j.png
documn
I'm with Hickory, as far as I know there is no animation specific to disarm. Have you tried disabling Deadly Reflex to see if it added a bad animation? Or you could try deleting the kf files in your data\meshes\characters\_male folder to see if any of your current animations may or may not be the problem. (Remember to backup first)
Dragongreatsword
That is the weird part, I replaced all the animation files (I had an backup) this fixed most of my problems, but the disarm problem persists. To be frank my problems started when I downloaded these mods: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18617 and http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20891 Perhaps I should just give up, it seems this problem can't be fixed.
