Help me please!! After doing some mod with CS I run thro a huge trouble, my character moves alone and veeeeeeery slowly

I can't stop him but I can change his direction, but still moves super slowly

I tried a complete re-installation of the game and still the same trouble with all my saved games.

Help!!

**edit**

I restarted a game: same problem!!

Disable the mod your created, and start a NEW game -- don't load a save game. Does the same happen?

There is a known 'bug' where if you have joystick activated in the Ini file it can cause creep when you are supposed to be stopped - even if you don't have a joystick attached.

Edit the Oblivion.ini - the one in the C:\Users\your user name\my documents\my games\Oblivion

Use notepad to open it. Find the line - 'buse joystick=1' and change the 1 to a 0 (zero) - then save.

If that doesn't work, Just using the standard uninstall leaves a lot of stuff behind that can cause problems try this.

Here is a link to my complete uninstall/reinstall procedure located in the articles section of the Nexus

http://www.tesnexus.com/articles/article.php?id=240

It allows you to preserve any saves and mods, or remove them completely - your choice.

Well, they say you're never too old to learn. That's one for me to (try to) remember. Thanks, bben.
