Waphlez Posted August 21, 2010 Share Posted August 21, 2010 Hello, whenever I kill someone via decapitation, throat slitting, etc. (all from Deadly Reflex) their corpses look "foggy" or washed out. Here's a good picture I took showing the discolored corpse (after I slit her throat) and a regular looking guard. DavidBudreck Posted August 21, 2010 Share Posted August 21, 2010 It sounds to me like the BSA files are not registered properly, and therefore the mods don't have the resources they need to display properly. Theoretically BSA Files are supposed to become active when an ".esp" of exactly the same name is activated, but that does not always seem to be the case. You can manually "Register" your .bas files by editing the Oblivion.ini file located in your Oblivion Saved Games folder. Put it at the end of the line that starts with "SArchiveList=Oblivion - Meshes.bsa," add a comma to the end, then add mmm.bsa So, it would look like this: SArchiveList=Oblivion - Meshes.bsa, <a whole bunch of files>.bsa, mmm.bsa (or FraNewItems.bas, or whatever.bsa) You can string them together separated by commas. All of your .bas files should be registered If you want to see them in the CS, you need to do the same in the ConstructionSet.ind file. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Waphlez Posted August 21, 2010 Author Share Posted August 21, 2010 Thank you for replying. I added all the .bsa files that are in my Data folder to the .ini but I still have this problem. EDIT: Also, I'm not sure what I installed that did this but I noticed my health/magicka/fatigue bars no longer have the "empty" background when they aren't at 100%. As you can see in the pic, my health is less than my magicka but no background on the missing health area. It's very difficult to see what % each bar is at, especially if all of them aren't full. Anyone know what could have done this or a way to fix it? I tried disabling some mods I recently put on, but nothing. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
