Very, very messed up interiors

I am using the Steam version of Oblivion Deluxe, which comes with all the DLC plus Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine. I haven't had many problems like this before, but recently I have encountered a game breaking interior bug.

I think a picture can explain it better than I can.

Very bloated list, I know. I am certain this is a mod-based bug. I fixed it a while ago, but I installed some other mods and it came back again. I tried deactivating the mods that may have caused this, but it didn't seem to do anything.

This isn't the only cell that is glitched, either. The sewers tend to be rather distorted, too. Any idea what mod is infamous for causing these problems?

If, by "Game Breaking" you are referring to the bottomless woman, then please see the discussion "armor mods problem...help!" on this page of this forum. I just went through explaining the easiest way to fix that. You are missing meshes from one of your mods.

I can't tell if the door is a problem, or if it is just too far away to be picked up in this picture.

Er, no, click on the thumbnail to see the full image.

I mean that the individual parts of the cell are displaced. Like, the door is in the wall, the stairs are in the table and not leading to the upstairs door which is floating in the middle of empty space. This is gamebreaking because once you get stuck in the inn, you can't get out without using TCL.

Also, I don't see a bottomless woman.

Sorry, from the angle of the picture I had not noticed the stairs. To me it looks like the woman has no lower body.

The stairs and bookcase are happening because two mods have edited the same cell, and this is kind of just part of life with modded Oblivion.

When this happens you have basically 4 options:

1. A pretty big long shot, but occasionally there are compatibility patches between mods.

2. Deal with it.

3. Deactivate one of the mods.

4. Edit one of the mods yourself to make it compatible with the other (thereby making your own patch).

To find out which mod(s) is or are getting funky, you can use Refscope. Refscope is a VERY Nifty tool for sorting out these types of incompatibilities!

Whew! No Refscope? Then that makes this much more difficult. Guessing which mod or mods are conflicting will be laborious to say the least. How much does it bother you? Because you're basically reduced to deactivating mods one at a time until you find the one that is causing trouble.

What tavern is this?

(I have NO idea what to do about Refscope causing a CTD.)

It's the Merchants inn in the Imperial Market. The sewers tend to be somewhat like this, too.

I think I can fix it, I fixed it before. I ran a conflict detection to see which mods alter this cell, and am going to try disabling them.

Perhaps he can use 'What's That From?' instead.
