Ultragamer2005
I am using the Steam version of Oblivion Deluxe, which comes with all the DLC plus Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine. I haven't had many problems like this before, but recently I have encountered a game breaking interior bug. I think a picture can explain it better than I can. http://a.imageshack.us/img838/2801/oblivion201008211304127.th.jpg Here is my mod list, with the mods I have tried deactivating having an X in front of them: Oblivion.esm Cobl Main.esm Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esm CM Partners.esm X HorseCombatMaster.esm Unofficial Oblivion Patch.esp UOP Vampire Aging & Face Fix.esp DLCShiveringIsles.esp Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch.esp Natural_Weather_HDR_2.1.2_bugfree.esp Natural_Habitat_by_Max_Tael.esp Natural_Water_by_Max_Tael.esp PowerAttack Voicemod - The Shivering Isles.esp Akatosh Mount By Saiden Storm.esp Immersive Combat Music.esp DLCHorseArmor.esp DLCHorseArmor - Unofficial Patch.esp DLCOrrery.esp DLCOrrery - Unofficial Patch.esp DLCVileLair.esp DLCVileLair - Unofficial Patch.esp DLCMehrunesRazor.esp DLCMehrunesRazor - Unofficial Patch.esp DLCSpellTomes.esp DLCSpellTomes - Unofficial Patch.esp severianskatanas1_2.esp X DLCThievesDen.esp DLCThievesDen - Unofficial Patch.esp DLCThievesDen - Unofficial Patch - SSSB.esp Cobl Glue.esp Cobl Si.esp Cobl Tweaks.esp Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esp OOO-Water_Weeds.esp OOO-Map_Markers_Stock.esp OOO 1.32-Cobl.esp AshTentMod.esp VypersAstralStorage.esp DLCBattlehornCastle.esp DLCBattlehornCastle - Unofficial Patch.esp DLCfrostcrag.esp FrostcragRebornCobl.esp Knights.esp Knights - Unofficial Patch.esp Natural_Vegetation_by_Max_Tael.esp Harvest [Flora].esp Harvest [Flora] - Shivering Isles.esp Harvest [Flora] - DLCVileLair.esp Harvest [Flora] - DLCFrostcrag.esp SkycaptainsBloodTime.esp SupremeMagicka.esp SM_ShiveringIsles.esp SM_DLCSpellTome.esp SM_OOO.esp SM_COBL.esp SM_EnchantStaff.esp SM_Scrolls.esp SM_SigilStone.esp bgMagicEV_Conjuration_for_Supreme_Magicka.esp MidasSpells.esp Midas OscuroGems.esp Midas Betterholy.esp Midas Reduced Costs Half.esp Midas PowDur2x.esp Midas Eldrich Power 2x.esp Midas Tigernolevel OBSE.esp Midas BeastFortify Fix OBSE.esp LeveledMagicka.esp dyseso_Light_Ingred_Appar.esp X RshAlchemy.esp X RshAlchemyRecipes.esp X StealthOverhaul.esp X StealthOverhaul, Cobl.esp X Deadly Reflex 5 - Timed Block and 250% damage.esp DeadlyReflex 5 - Combat Moves.esp SM_DeadlyReflex.esp Enchanting Skill.esp RetroHealth.esp Grandmaster of Alchemy.esp X Level_Rates_Modified_x2.esp CM Partners.esp X CM Partners Special NPCs.esp X CM Partners NPC.esp X CM Partners More NPCs.esp X CM Partners Marker NPCs.esp X CM Partners Extra NPCs.esp X bgMagicEV.esp bgMagicItemSigil.esp bgMagicEVStartspells.esp bgMagicBonus.esp bgMagicEVAddEnVar.esp bgMagicEVPaperChase.esp bgMagicAlchemy.esp bgMagicPotionNumberSoulGemValue.esp bgMagicEVShader.esp bgMagicShaderLifeDetect.esp bgMagicLightningbolt.esp Bashed Patch, 0.esp SellCrapTheThird.esp - Self-made mod, doesn't alter this cell Easy Storage.esp MuffinShare.esp drAnEnchantingMerchant.esp MagesGuildPortalTowerV1.2.esp XVery bloated list, I know. I am certain this is a mod-based bug. I fixed it a while ago, but I installed some other mods and it came back again. I tried deactivating the mods that may have caused this, but it didn't seem to do anything. This isn't the only cell that is glitched, either. The sewers tend to be rather distorted, too. Any idea what mod is infamous for causing these problems?
DavidBudreck
If, by "Game Breaking" you are referring to the bottomless woman, then please see the discussion "armor mods problem...help!" on this page of this forum. I just went through explaining the easiest way to fix that. You are missing meshes from one of your mods. I can't tell if the door is a problem, or if it is just too far away to be picked up in this picture.

I mean that the individual parts of the cell are displaced. Like, the door is in the wall, the stairs are in the table and not leading to the upstairs door which is floating in the middle of empty space. This is gamebreaking because once you get stuck in the inn, you can't get out without using TCL. Also, I don't see a bottomless woman.
DavidBudreck
Sorry, from the angle of the picture I had not noticed the stairs. To me it looks like the woman has no lower body. The stairs and bookcase are happening because two mods have edited the same cell, and this is kind of just part of life with modded Oblivion. When this happens you have basically 4 options:1. A pretty big long shot, but occasionally there are compatibility patches between mods.2. Deal with it.3. Deactivate one of the mods.4. Edit one of the mods yourself to make it compatible with the other (thereby making your own patch). To find out which mod(s) is or are getting funky, you can use Refscope. Refscope is a VERY Nifty tool for sorting out these types of incompatibilities! Ultragamer2005
Funnily, I installed that and it caused an instant CTD even when put in proper load order. No idea why.
DavidBudreck
Whew! No Refscope? Then that makes this much more difficult. Guessing which mod or mods are conflicting will be laborious to say the least. How much does it bother you? Because you're basically reduced to deactivating mods one at a time until you find the one that is causing trouble. What tavern is this? (I have NO idea what to do about Refscope causing a CTD.) I ran a conflict detection to see which mods alter this cell, and am going to try disabling them.

Perhaps he can use 'What's That From?' instead.
DavidBudreck
I am not familiar with "What's That From?". And there are way too many mods in this list that I do not recognize for me to even venture a guess as to which is the culprit.
Ultragamer2005
Ok, I just did a quick check, and the problem is actually oblivion.esm's fault. I can easily redownload it by deleting it, cutting and pasting the folder and letting Steam redownload it.
