PsychoShark
Hello, fellow nexus-ers. Seems I can't play Fallout without having at least one problem. So here's the deal. My character has just recently left the Vault. Before I headed to Megaton, I stopped by the MiniHideout mod, then called in some troops with the Enclave Commander mod. All set to go, I headed to Megaton. The first time this happened, I told my troops to stay outside. I proceeded to walk up to the door to Megaton pressed E to go in, then... Fallout 3 has stopped working. Seriously? Okay okay, maybe it was just a one in a million crash. I restarted Fallout, went to Megaton, and again, Fallout 3 had stopped working. Great! So I got these new mods just for Fallout to crash in the process? I haven't tried entering any other "Interiors" besides the MiniHideout, perhaps I should have done that, but I think its mainly Megaton. My mod list is very small, and shouldnt be causing any problems. Its comprised of smaller mods such as: EnclaveCommander-OA-Pitt-Steel.esm, Fellout.esp, MiniHideout.esp, F.E.A.R..esp(clothing), S.T.A.L.K.E.R. MOD(clothing).esp etc... Very small mods... should have no problems. :wallbash: Help is much appreciated.
bethjunkie
I had the same crashing at Megaton with Mini Hideout as my only mod. Masterupdating your mods may fix the issue: ==========[Known Issues]========== -If you are having problems crashing with the MiniHideout please see the following mod: FO3Edit by ElminsterEUhttp://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=637 This fixes Megaton, random, load or save crashes most of the time... Steps for use: 1. Download FO3Edit2. Copy the FO3Edit.exe to desktop3. Rename to FO3MasterUpdate4. Open up FOMM (Fallout Mod Manager) and check the mod5. Click the FO3MasterUpdate.exe with FOMM still open (then close window when it says it's finished)6. Launch Fallout 3 through FOMM. You do not need to install the esp that comes with FO3Edit. And you will need to do this each time you install a new mod.
