You need to run BOSS.bat and NOT BOSS.exe . The batch file redirects output to a text file, and then displays it.

Be sure your boss.bat contains the following:

@echo off
boss.exe > BOSSlog.txt
start BOSSlog.txt

Okay, thanks. I was already using the boss.bat file. I´ve read on some places on the net that re-installing on another directory also helps, but now OBMM won't install anymore. Is there a way to install OBMM in a custom Oblivion install path? I have installed Oblivion in My Documents.

Reinstalling in your 'My Documents' folder was completely a wrong move -- never, ever install programs, even less games, in your Documents folder. They are special folders for storing data, not for installing programs. Windows Vista & 7 have issues with some programs and games that are installed in the default 'Program Files' folder, and the best place to redirect games such as Oblivion, which is one such case, is directly to your C: drive. I have mine installed in C:\Games\Oblivion, for example.

Did you correctly uninstall before reinstalling? Please take a look at Bben's Reinstall Procedure .
