DavidBudreck
I am not familiar with this specific mod, but most "replacers" work basically the same way. They literally replace vanilla files with new custom ones. Examing the archive from the download. Contained within will be two distinctly different paths for both "Meshes" and "Textures". These will be "Armor" and "Clothing". \Data\Meshes\Clothes... and \Data\Textures\Clothes...\Data\Meshes\Armor... and \Data\Textures\Armor... Jut copy the ones you want and leave the rest. Prenihility
Hmmm...Im a bit consufed though. I know the Armor is what i want (which is in the meshes section) , but i happened to take a look in the textures section, and found two other folders, "Dark Seducer" and "Golden Saint"...So...im assuming ill need the textures aswell? EDIT: Put them straight into the Data folder, didnt work, activated the .esp aswell. GAH!
DavidBudreck
Wow. These are Truly Hideous. To each his own I guess... OK, back up a step. This mod uses vanilla textures for the Armor and Clothing. So, all you have to do is copy and paste the \data\meshes\armor folder into your data folder. Say "Yes" when Windows asks you if you want to merge the folders. I am not 100% sure what this mod is doing with the textures, but the textures included in this mod are NOT for the armor and/or clothing, they are for the Dark Sedusers and Golden Saints themselves. So try it with and without the textures and see which you like better. I always say "Copy/Paste" because this will preserve the original Archive; don't just move them over on top. The textures are replacing vanilla textures that are safely contained within the BSA files, so you are technically not overwriting anything. So, if you install the textures, then don't like them, all you have to do is find and delete them and the game will go right back to vanilla versions. EDITsorry, I didn't even notice that there was an ESP file in here. Give me a few minutes to see what that is doing. EDITOK, all the esp does is place a copy of the Duchess and Dancer clothing inside the palace. If you don't want the clothing anyway then you don't even need it.The Armor, if replaced properly, will show up immediately. This ESP file is named exactly the same thing as the Vanilla Shivering Isle Mod. PLEASE tell me that you didn't overwrite the vanilla mod with this! This mod is 2.12KB. The Shivering Isle Mode is 1.57MB!!! If you did overwrite, it is probably time to restore from a backup...
