DSLmaster
Hi guys, i have been playing New Vegas for some time now, but there is one thing I never understood. In the Inventory, when you select a gun, the is that small picture (bullets for guns, lighning for engergie weapons...) and there is a number in it. What does that number stand for, and in which way does it affect the game? Maybe it s a stupid questin, but I just don t get it :S. Thanks for the help ;-) Edit: ok I understand, that you get a lower damage output when you do not meet the requiements, but the damage is always lower than max as log as you don t have 100 at guns engergie weapons... I am still confused :( Edited November 24, 2014 by DSLmaster
SayinNuthin
Ha, finally an easy one. The number represents the 'skill level' your character is supposed to have to use the weapon. Nothing stops you using it with lower level but a gun wont be as accurate, a knife wont be as fast etc. etc. Much the same as if you do not have the strength requirement. So my Strengh and my Skilllevel have to be high enough or I get all this wobbling :D.
