She is still cute but She in now a he?!?!

Jensine is no longer female and therefore her quest dialogue is broken. She is now male and talks with a Nord male voice.

 

I can't figure out which mod did this and I am hoping that maybe I can use the construction set to fix it but according to the construction set she is still a she. I have been unable to find a tutorial on how to change the gender of npc's and most discourage it since it will break the dialogue.

 

Jensine appears to be the only character affected.

 

console command sexchange causes ctd immediately.

You're going to have to find the mod that does it and disable it or change the characters sex back within that mod.

 

I would suggest taking your clean save to the location where she is and saving a fresh save there, then unchecking five mods at a time till you find which one changes her back from male to female. Then you can open that mod in the CS and change her sex back then save. Should solve the issue.

I was hoping that I could just make a new mod to change her back to female and then place that esp at the end of the load order, but I guess I don't know what I am doing. I am not sure it is worth the bother and according to the cheesy grin on Tenacity's face I think that she likes the new Jensine better.

 

It does annoy me. It had been so long since I had been in her shop that I have no idea how many mods ago she had the "change". Thanks for the input. Not the easy answer I was hoping for. :ermm:

It should be rather easy to identify the plugin responsible for this though. There shouldn't be many which even affect Jensine to begin with.

Using TES4Edit it should be a matter of minutes to spot the one that changes her gender.

 

Or, for starters, you could give 'us' a print out of your load order. Maybe someone else knows this problem already and will spot the culprit right away.

Thanks, for any input. Trying to see if any of the more recent mods had items for sale at Jensine. ecatlights did and I uninstalled.
