SUGGESTION: member search

I have noticed there is no way to find members who have not created mods. They might come to you, if you have created a mod, but you cannot find them, their pictures, or their videos posted on nexusmods.

 

 

Maybe we should make "SEARCH MEMBERS" option at nexusmods.

In the meantime you can use Google to find the user by typing the following entry:

 

"User_name site:www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/users/"

 

For example...

Jennawatson site:www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/users/

 

(Edit: I just noticed the site "Let me google that for you" has a sarcastic tone it... but that's definitely not my intention. I just linked it because I wanted to show exactly what to type in the search engine. I, myself, learned about the "site:____" filter just recently.... so there's no way I would be condescending or obnoxious with others on that)

With over four million members the search member function simply can't cope and it's unlikely to be fixed as it's not a priority. Use google as has already been suggested, it works well enough.

The member search function we had back when there were only a couple of hundred thousand members was disabled because it was slowing things down. We are over 8 million members now. :thumbsup:
