  1. Can you go back to sovngarde legitimately in the game? I thought after killing Alduin you wouldn't be able to go back there ever again. Or did you go there with "coc" / some mod?
  2. c'est toujours le bon moment
  3. Is there some sort of mod that allows me to force any random npc into equipping certain weapon/shield/armor easily without requiring me to actually hire this npc as follower? As for now, the only way I know is: 1) Get the codes for each item I want them to equip 2) Open console, click on them 3) equipitem *code* 1 (for each item) I would love if someone made a mode where I could do something like. 1) Cast a spell on a npc... -> an "empty inventory window" would appear. 2) Drop whatever items I want them to equip into this window 3) Done! The mod would automatically do the "equipitem" code for each of the items I dropped into this window. Is there such a mod around already? I would really appreciate any kind of suggestion. Thanks in advance ========================= UPDATE: I found a mod that does what I was asking. I'll place it here as an edit to not self-bump my thread. Here's the link to it: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11662/?
  4. That's sounds so odd to me though... Helgen Reborn, XP32 Skeleton, Sexlab.... These all seem completely unrelated... I'm sorry I wasn't able to help. Good luck there
  5. That's so odd...Each log seems to be showing completely different reasons for the crash... Based on the third log, though, have you tried fully uninstalling sexlab? Follow the exact uninstalling instructions given by the mod author, to make sure everything will be removed safely. Then clean your save with: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/? See if the random crashes still happen... if they have stopped, you can try reinstalling a more recent version of the mod.
  6. If the crash is happening even when you only have the essential activated, it's best to gather logs with only these essential activated. It will make it easier for us to find out the reason behind it. If you could post more than one log it would be even better Something like this: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/2325149-help-with-ctd-papyrus-log-loadorder-included/
  7. When you are surrounded by all these people, it can be lonelier than when you are by yourself...
  8. Could you post the Papyrus log? It's a great way to diagnose the cause of CTD in specific scenarios. To activate Papyrus log your skyrim.ini file should have something like this written: (manually add any missing line, there will be) [Papyrus] fUpdateBudgetMS=800.0 fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=800.0 fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=2000.0 iMinMemoryPageSize=256 iMaxMemoryPageSize=512 iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=153600 bEnableLogging=1 bEnableTrace=1 bLoadDebugInformation=1 After doing that, start the game normally... As soon as you crash... go to (....\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Logs\Script) and open Papyrus.0.log) And copy the last few lines from it... (2 pages in microsoft word are more than enough... no need to copy the entire text file) If the reason for the CTD is script-related... the Papyrus log will show what was the last script called before the crash.
  9. Hey there, This is not a "Let's play", I'm trying to go through a different path. I'm working on Story Telling videos with a more Cinematic feel to them. (The videos are heavily edited) Think of this as something midway between a regular "let's play" and a Machinima. Each video is an independent story, you don't need to have watched the previous episodes to understand this one. I'm fairly new to the idea of managing a Youtube Channel, so I still have very few subscribers. I'm eager to learn more (I've been getting several tips over the previous videos and learning a lot over time), so please provide feedback... even if you didn't like the video, let me know. What you didn't like? Watch the skies, traveler.
  10. I prefer Requiem over SkyRe. (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19281/?) Requiem makes the world unleved... The world doesn't care what is your level.... If you're lvl 10 and try to take on a Dragon Priest, you'll have your head handled to you on a plate. If you play with Frostfall, I strongly suggest downloading Dynamic Things... It will allow you to Chop down trees for wood. (Which is way more immersive than "activating a fade-to-black skill for chopping trees that inserts them into your inventory out of the blue") (
  11. Is there a way for me to configure my skyrim so that I won't stay with a huge ice spike protruding from my head every time I face an ice mage? I want to set my game in a way that arrows/magic stick to the bodies of everything BUT the player. Could anyone assist me on this? Thank you in advance
  12. Just out of curiosity... This "under 150 mods" tip is just because usually we can't keep perfect track of incompatibilities, thus making it a pretty hard task to have a stable game with 150+ mods.... Or are you saying Skyrim really has a programming limitation that makes it have hard time managing too many esps at once, regardless of how compatible they are with each other?
  13. Solved MCRLquest.psc is from Reloading Overhaul. (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/55670/?). I'm not sure why it started making my game crash (it has been working wonders for months), it's a great mod..... But after removing it, the crash stopped. It's a pity, I really liked the mod...but it must be conflicting with something in my load order.
  14. Hi there! I'm having some random crashes in my skyrim... it started out of nowhere.. the crashes happen randomly but they happen quick (1-5 minutes after I loaded the game) Relevant points: - What is "MCRLquest.psc" ? What mod calls it? This seems to be the culprit ... - Sounds of Skyrim (SoS): Mod organizer is suggesting me to overwrite the scripts from SOSconfigmenu with the ones from SOS-dungeons/city/wilds... but SOSmenu installation instructions are clear that SOSmenu should overwrite the others. - I'm having this issue while I'm next to Fellglow's Keep (Doing hitting the books quest from the College of Winterhold) Ending part of the Papyrus log (try #1): Ending of Papyrus Log (Try #2) Ending part of the Papyrus log (try #3): Load order: Please help, I would appreciate any kind of assistance
  15. I follow that philosophy as well... I agree 100% with you. The only texture mod I have installed (besides the unofficial HD DLC patch) is "aMidianborn's book of silence", other than that the looks of my game is all on the shoulders of my ENB and Light mods. (Oh... also mod for the Night sky... and a mod for the road signs)
  16. Heheh yeah, we need to be plan that accordingly. (I suggest you check "Mod Organizer" as well) Some people prefer Nexus Mod Manager.... others prefer "Mod Organizer". Try it out and see what fits you best.
  17. I have rewritten my first comment to make it clearer. In your example... You have 2k texture installed. You decide to install Flora Overhaul. If you press "Yes to mod" you're saying You want "Flora Overhaul" to overwrite any file from the "2k texture" that conflicts with it... but anything that 2k texture has that "Flora Overhaul" hasn't will remain installed. So you can keep both mods at once. The difference between "Yes to mod" and "Yes to all" is that by saying "Yes to mod" you're just saying "Yes to the files of this mod in specific" So lets say you also had "Cookie Dynamics Ugly purple trees" installed.... The fact that you said "Yes to mod" during the "2k texture" is irrelevant.... the Mod Organizer will make a new pop up asking if you want to overwrite "Cookie Dynamics Ugly Purple Trees" textures with the ones from the "Flora Overhaul".
  18. Simple "Yes" = "I agree with you overwriting this file in specific.... but I want you to ask me again if another file-conflict appears later on" "Yes to mod" = "I'm giving free pass for you to overwrite all the files of this mod with the ones of my new mod during the course of this installation... but I still want you to ask me if file-conflicts happen with any other mod" "Yes to all" = "All the files of this mod I'm installing should overwrite everything...so don't ask me...just install the damn thing already "
  19. On the same topic... I was wondering if anyone could suggest an armor that could fit a Thief Male Character... but I don't mean "assassin thief"... I'm playing a male bard that likes to steal stuff and run away... he never really kills... I'm looking something that looks cool but is still within the realm of "normal clothes"... Something that doesn't say straight away "Hey, I'm a thief"... but somehow express this idea of life in a mild way... I know that's an odd suggestion, but I've been looking in Nexus for a while and I still didn't find anything for him. PS: I'm currently using DreamBurrow's Regal Huntsman Armor (Which boombro even mentioned in this topic). But I'm looking forward for more suggestions.
  20. You're pressing 5 and then pressing Z right? I mean, "search" is a power. When you press 5, you're merely selecting it as your current power... but you still need to press the Power button (usually Z on the keyboard) to properly use the skill. (Fun fact: You can also use search on enemies that yield. You can loot everything from them but their armors. )
  21. Hey there, In the meantime you can use Google to find the user by typing the following entry: "User_name site:www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/users/" For example... Jennawatson site:www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/users/ (Edit: I just noticed the site "Let me google that for you" has a sarcastic tone it... but that's definitely not my intention. I just linked it because I wanted to show exactly what to type in the search engine. I, myself, learned about the "site:____" filter just recently.... so there's no way I would be condescending or obnoxious with others on that) http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Jennawatson+site%3Awww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fusers%2F <-- Showing in google Another example "Cookie Dynamics" site:www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/users/ http://lmgtfy.com/?q=CookieDynamics+site%3Awww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fusers%2F I hope this helped
  22. Every time you want a NPC to "donate" a book they have, you can use the console command. *Open console *Click on the book *type 'setownership' --- A side note: One thing to try out as well... Place all your stolen books in a container... click on the container and then use "setownership" ... Doing that may make all the books that are in that container belong to you. I'm not sure... it has been a while since I used this command, so I'm not sure this will actually happen... but it's worth the try.
  23. This is definitely something Skyrim was lacking for years! Thank you to everyone involved in this. I can't wait to try it out. That's the most prominent immersion problem this game has right now. "Oh yeah, we totally love each other, lets get married." (Becomes food machine and pay you taxes every day)
  24. Great news then! But.... what could be causing this issue I'm having? Do you have any leads? -------------------- Just an update. I've downloaded the 2012 version and now things are working just fine. But I just want to make clear that I do trust your word about the viability of the 2014 version. It probably didn't work for me for very particular reasons that I couldn't figure out. Thank you very much for helping me, Matthias. The program is working like a charm now!
