Guest deleted2159825
Animations are fun ! I animated some sort of trebuchet thing ! But you say you already have one right ? The more the merrier! I just have some resources, but I haven't messed with them at all. I don't know dick about animations, so I'll be leaning on you in that department. Guest deleted2159825
One quest down (It's the longest), five to go. I'm sticking to my original ETA of two weeks. I'll keep you posted on the progress. Since I'm not messing with worldspace creation, it's a blast making the prologue (particularly quests and dialogue). Don't worry, it's going to have plenty of violence. Thanks again for all the help, guys.
Deleted1848331User
Make sure if you ha ve AI packages you make sure they only run at the certain stage of the quest :D
kieranfoy
And watch out for pathgridding. It's a royal pain.
Guest deleted2159825
And watch out for pathgridding. It's a royal pain. It can't be worse than Navmeshing for FO3. I've messed with it a little, and it's pretty straightforward, though tedious as hell. I only tamper with the vanilla worldspace when absolutely necessary (adding a tent outside Gottlesfont or an additional cavern, for example). I prefer to make my own worldspaces to screw up. I pay pretty close attention to the AI package conditions (I tend to rely on variables more than stages), but I'm sure any discrepancies will be discovered in testing. The prologue is roughly 15-20% done, all things considered. Thanks for the info and suggestions - I'll keep you posted.
Guest deleted2159825
All, I have another art request that slipped my mind. Feel free to post a suggested logo for the quest (although I'm leaning towards the default St. Alessia Logo), and images for the following faction ranks:Aspirant, Squire, Gallant, Chevalier, Keeper, Knight Brother, Commander, Marshal, Seneschal, Paladin (a nod to Daggerfall) If all else fails, I'll simply adapt art from the Fighter's Guild. Guest deleted2159825
All, If you're tracking this mod, I just wanted to post an update that progress is ongoing. I've been neck-deep in scripting for the second quest, and it's shaping up to be a long series with plenty of violence and intrigue (and dueling, of course). I'm estimating the beta should be out within a few weeks (I'm repeating my old ETA but the second quest has been time-consuming). Thanks!
Guest deleted2159825
All, Just another update on The Siege of Malat: Prologue. I finished the next quest and I'm estimating that the prologue is 40% of the way to beta release. Once the meshes and textures are implemented and the last quests are complete I'll post it online (ETA 10 days or so). Thanks for the support, and feel free to post questions or suggestions pertaining to the mod. Best,Someguy

Guest deleted2159825
Still need any help with stuff? Any retexturing requests :whistling: Since TehBuddha's working on the Alessian armor, I could use some textures for vampiric assassins. Some type of retexture for the Dark Brotherhood armor would be nice (just make it black - that always works), and a dark texturing of steel armor could work for the vampire boss. It's not a priority, so I won't be picky. Just be creative with it and let's see how it turns out. Thanks!
