I just installed OBMM on my new labtop which is able to run Oblivion.

When I started OBMM it said that I cannot use all the features of the program because I am only a limited user......!!! Which I really don't understand?! I don't see a payment-requirement :S I HAVE used OBMM on my stationary pc and it worked perfectly... but now... I don't understand :( Limited user!!??

Limited user has to do with the permissions allowed by your windows setup. OBMM is only offered as a free utility. Thank Timeslip for the most used and most useful utility for Oblivion.

Also check the readme for any other special instructions - such as using it with Steam

Oblivion Mod Manager does not require administrative priveliges, but it DOES neet to write to the Oblivion folder, which by default is in 'Program Files'. With Windows Vista and 7 this is a protected folder structure. The best course of action is to uninstall Oblivion and then reinstall outside of the Program Files folder -- I have mine in C:\Games\Oblivion, for example.

Now I have figured this out! I needed to set my whole system to me being the administrator....

Now I just have problems installing mods to the game... the normal ones AND the OMODS... But I'm forcing my brain to look into this in this moment.... which is haaard :P

I use Windows7 which is very very different from what I'm used to :|

I've tried the same thing, but when I try to install mods toOblivion it sais that I have to put it in the Oblivions installation directory..... what does that mean?
