Blender exporting to GECK problem

So I edited the chinese AR model in blender, exported it and the new model shows up fine in NifSkope. However when I load it in the GECK the model is invisible. Any ideas about this?

Make sure your new model is a BSFadeNode. Every time I export from blender I have to go into nifscope to change it back to the proper format. I do get an error in the GECK when I forget to do this, which tells me my new nif is not a BSFadeNode. I'm assuming you should be getting the same error.

Sorry about the late relpy but how do I do this? When I rename the NiNode to BSFadeNode it recognises it as a Bethesda specific fade node but my model still doesn't show up in the GECK.http://fallout3nexus.com/imageshare/images/1818712-1283792129.jpg

You probably have the wrong Shader Flags. You could change them manually in NifSkope, but it's probably a better idea to just set the options you want when you export the NIF from Blender. When the NIF Scripts export panel comes up, find the "Shader Options" section. For your purpose, just hit the "Default" button.

By the way, there's a "Use BSFadeNode Root" button right there too...

When I go to export the Nif, I don't have those options. This is what it looks like for mehttp://fallout3nexus.com/imageshare/images/1818712-1283876045.jpg

Your version of the Blender NIF Scripts is quite old. The latest version is 2.5.5.

EDIT:

By the way, from the version history it looks like the export shader options were added in v2.4.3 (March 2009), so you missed it by one revision.

Just updated the scripts and PyFFI, everything works now. Thanks for the help
