adding friend

Simple -- on the Forums side, click on the target friend's name, go to their profile page, then click on the "add me as a friend" button. If they're accepting friends immediately, it'll say you've been added -- and you'll find they've been added at the same tme to your profile page. If they've chosen to approve friends instead of instantaneous adding, then you'll get a message that they've added you after they've accepted you. Could take a while, depending on often they log on ---

 

Pretty much the same routine on the Files site --- the button just says "add friend". You really only have to add them once, on the Forums site: they'll show up on all your Files profile pages, too.

I should know! Cause! I have added deleted friends a lot over the years I have been a member. Isn't that so Bess?

 

Sometimes I didn't delete them and I realized so, because when I looked into their Profiles under Manage Friends my Pix was still there, and Remove me as a Friend was on their profile. So I cleared all the names whose Avatar was not longer visible in my friends list 1st. Then restored them ALL. That worked, but it got annoying after it happened a few more times.

 

Here's a hint to think about if you're planning on adding friends. Chat with them first on the forums and don't end up like I did. I just managed to build a Puter that does everything and extra's so I was able to find a DVD/CD player that read all my old CD's and Voila' FINALLY I uploaded the mod I started WAY WAY Back when I first tried friending a bunch of people here. I like them all for part or all of what they provide at this site.

 

Those were the good ol' days; when I could just tap on 'Add me as a Friend' for any reason. Maybe it was their pix up on the Nexus, a pix they did of their art work, poetry, you name it.

 

I probably chose the Add as a friend on many of them without so much as considering whether we had anything in common.

 

Do it for friends that share some chatter often with you. Them's the best kind.

what if i cant find their profile when search for their name?

Hold the mouse arrow over the profile name. Like NWNlover91 and a pop up window will appear. Click on the little person with the plus sign down at the bottom of the pop up.
