Crashing and File Corruption outside Vault 106

After weeks of trying to figure out the problem as to why my save file keeps getting corrupted, I was able to narrow it down to a cause; the random event area outside of Vault 106. I am not sure if it is a mod that is causing it, but every time I go near Vault 106, I crash, and the save file gets corrupted. I believe this is due to the randomly spawning event there, but I don't know how to fix it, and it is really annoying considering I want to go near there. Any fixes?

Your load order needs correcting before you can start to eliminate a problem. Try this: http://boss-developers.github.io/

 

After the load order is sorted, make sure StreetLights.esm is placed between ThePitt.esm and BrokenSteel.esm.

 

You also should uninstall any of the plugins you are not using. If the file is in the "Data" folder, it will be loaded into memory.

 

Did you make the .ini changes to restrict your CPU to only two cores?

 

You should also look into the Large Address Aware Enabler: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/6510/?

No promises if that saved game is from your first post...as that first post shows clearly a mess, no doubt in my mind the game is messed up.

Just Got home, long day. downloading now. it's gonna be a while, I have set up your personal account on my system and profile as required.

 

I may not install all of those mods as some of the listed one there in the OP are not all that great. What this means is ,when you run multi weather mods.for effects...you know things need to be in a certain order, OR one mod effects another. But if you know the exact sequnce needed to make them all play nice ,the results are astronomically fantastic !

 

Hope fully I can just strip out the bad code and not loose much data in it. and resend it back for an attempt. Progress in the game won't be lost. but parts, pieces, items, Notes? possibly? may be lost. If there are specific Unique Quests? they might be reset, but we're only interested in one area.

Now, I am going off line into your personalized account to do some work, recreate those mods from that list and then copy that content to a holding folder for this account. I need to see what Loot is doing because the load order still is a mess.

I also will get any pertinent info from Loot if there is any I may be needing in order to isolate data your using and do the correct thing in the correct order.

 

the idea behind this is to give you an idea of what we do in order to find out whats wrong. this is just 1 solution so sense it's your game file, I give you Blow by blow as I hack my way through it.
