Elevenence
Hi Guys,I've been thinking, it would be nice to have all those vegetations in skyrim cause the enemy's detection to decrease when a player is sneaking in grasses or hidding in BUSHES. THAT WOULD REALLY MAKE THE GAMEPLAY BELIEVABLE in my opinion. It really made me wonder, why the enemy can see you when you are in grasses just as well as when there are no grasses, it's like as if the grasses do not affect visibility at all. I just thought that, with all those vegetation mods, it would be nice that if a script is created to detect whether the player is in grasses or bushes, and therefore cause the enemy detection to decrease or visibility to decrease. That would be awesome and immersive. That's all I'm asking, I don't know if such a mod exists, maybe it's there, maybe not. But, yeah, that's my suggestion. Kantte
This is a good idea, and if it is possible maybe the mod could include camouflage since it is somewhat related.
lofgren
The closest I have been able to approximate this is to give the player perks that make light less relevant to stealth when outdoors or in natural environments, which sort of feels like the effect of camouflage. Personally I find this effect to be less problematic in Skyrim than in Oblivion. In Oblivion I ultimately turned almost all vegetation off because it was so frustrating that it would hide NPCs from me but did nothing to help me hide from them.
