Alchemist's Inventory-dependant Mixing Guide?

Long ago, I found a lovely bartending program where you simply input what you have in your inventory (liquor cabinet), and it makes a list of possible drinks you can make with your given.... provisions. Any experienced alchemist will see where I'm going with this.

 

When making potions, it is an often and tiring routine to go through and check each individual ingredient for effects to see what all you can make.

 

I say, we need a program -be it an external program or a much more easily accessable game plugin- with the following features:

-you list your inventory of ingredients (or auto-detect with a plugin)

-it tells you which potions you can make and with which ingredients

-you select your alchemical experiance level (novice, apprentice, journeyman, expert, master) to see what you can make at the time

-using a "known ingredient effects" database, the program/plugin should tell you which potions you can make, depending on what you have in your inventory and level. (again, much could be auto-detected if this were made as a plugin)

 

*another optional feature could be to predict the potency of the hypothetical potion using the given factors of level, and the apparatuses used to create it

 

 

Now, much of this is just me piecing together the note-to-self moments I've come across while mixing potions in the game. I have very little experience in modding and do not have the time to become experience in it. (most i've ever done was making enchanted items through a plugin, which ended up crashing my game and has deterred me from attempting it again) I just think this would be a fairly popular plugin, and would be much revered by all alchemical practitioners across Cyrodiil. lol, i love getting all into it...

Ooh, good idea!! I have seen a few mods around that are books you pick up with recipes for all the possible potions, but this is more of a reverse lookup if I understand you. Like you, I wish I knew how to mod when I read all the good ideas on this board.
