cChriSs
I recently installed Fallout 3 Wanderers Edition, which is the first and only mod i've played. The problem is that there are alot of textures missing, mostly the weapons and armors that are added with the mod. They look very strange, almost silver. Also some guys wear helmets made of stone.I have the Steam version of Fallout 3, and have Vista. I don't know anything about modding and computers, so please talk to me like i'm a 4 year old
bethjunkie
Reinstall FWE using the 11.9 version of FOMM. The newer versions of FOMM aren't installing some of the resources properly for FWE (and some other mods). The problem will be fixed with the next release of FWE but until that day comes you can make things easier on yourself by using the 11.9 version of FOMM. bethjunkie
Oops, wait a second. I misread your post. Try using the Toggle Invalidation button in FOMM first to activate Archive Invalidation. If that does not work, reinstallation instructions are below: Open FOMM, click the Package Manager button, scroll to the FWE fomod, click Deactivate. Wait on it to uninstall. Download and install the 11.9 version of FOMM. Open Package Manager and click on the FWE fomod then click on Activate. Wait on the mod to install and when finished arrange the files properly in your load order.
cChriSs
Thank you for your help, but reinstalling and using the 11.9 version of FOMM doesn't help.Right now i am moving my Steam directory to my D: Drive, instead of C:, maybe that will help.
