Shinmuriel
Yea i got the goty edition form walmart. I'm having trouble getting it running though, lol. I have really bad karma or something and I don't know why i'm trying to even install a pc game much less mod it. Has no problems with oblivion so i thought id give it a shot. As far as the above posts go, it seems the goty edition installs the DLC right into the Data folder where it belongs (unlike downloading each addon separately from windows LIVE which places them into the DLC folder in games for windows LIVE and makes modding a pain in the ass not to mention you have to have a internet connection to play DLC this way). The windows LIVE disabler isn't necessary with the goty edition it "seems" although it does remove the LIVE option from the menu and speeds up loading times but if your using DUI it won't remove the LIVE option from the menu. As far as playing the windows LIVE GoTY edition offline the jury is still out. I'm crashing when I zone out of the Vault every time. Clean install into C-Bethesda-Fallout3 and no mods and it still crashes, i'm curious if there is some missing file I need from LIVE because im trying to play without it. I'm going to try one more install and play with LIVE and see how it goes. Ive installed the game about 5 times now and its getting tiresome. Johnydeath13
Look, its simple just use windows live disabler on the live version. Its that easy. It even has an option to move the dlcs to you're data folder. And personally I don't think zeta and lookout are worth it. Broken steel and anchorage are must haves. I never get tired of killing those commie enclaves. Oh, off subject, look up barrack obama enclave. It changes the sighns to barrack and the enclave holding hands with kids and commies. Combined with the enclave poop it is hallarias. Screw obama, BP, and democrats! :D
KDStudios
That's harsh! Lookout is completely worth it when you have the nexus at your disposal! You can make it look amazing and like me use it for resources. The tree's look amazing in the wasteland! However, yeah Zeta is a bit of a letdown =/ But yeah, if live annoys you that much use the disabler however there is absolutely no point in removing xD (Except if you don't wanna see it because you don't use it) =P Have fun mate =]
Gizmojunk
The GOTY edition has the base game and all of the DLC. The DLC comes on it's own disc with it's own installer. After installing the base game and DLC, I would recommend disabling Mothership Zeta. (Besides being silly; it seems to increase the frequency of crashes in the game).Afterward go to Bethsoft.com and download the Patch, and the GECK, and the patch for the GECK, and you're set. (You could also Download Nifskope while you are at it)

Goty comes with current patch re-patching a patched game is a recipe for ulcers remember to install disk 2 and you got patch.
