overlord118
I have the LE of Skyrim w/ all the pathes and even SSME. Why does SKSE take so long to load? I frequently get a small black screen open when starting the game, but then it closes without the starting menu appearing. The game worked well before and none of the mods I had ever caused it to CTD; mods aren't the likely culprit. Any ideas on how to easily fix? The game does eventually run, but I don't get why it takes 5-10 minutes of multiple clicks on the SKSE icon for that to happen.
cdcooley
Steam has to be running before you start the game with SKSE. If Steam isn't running SKSE will try to start it but then won't start the game correctly. And if you're using SSME with SKSE make sure they aren't both trying to do the memory patching. camaro_69_327
IF you have not defraged your HDD after installing Skyrim and mods.....get to it!! (Never defrag an SSD) When you see WHAT a mess Skyrim did to your HDD you will think..WTF. Download SPM (Skyrim Performance Monitor) run that for a bit as you play...post the graph. Check my SIG, get rid of SSME and use the SKSE.ini instead. (removes one extra program). does the same thing. ADD to your game..Stable Ugrids to loadENB...All current ENB's come with BOOST , use with or without graphics modification. Post your System Specs and Load Order.
