Arrows/ice spikes on NPCs but not on me... Is it possible?

Is there a way for me to configure my skyrim so that I won't stay with a huge ice spike protruding from my head every time I face an ice mage?

 

I want to set my game in a way that arrows/magic stick to the bodies of everything BUT the player.

 

Could anyone assist me on this?
