Revolvist
It seems that heavy plate armor doesn't 'connect' well with any gauntlet but heavy plate gauntlets (or other big ones). Meaning there is clearly some empty space between the gauntlets and the armor. You'd think there'd be a mod out there that fixes this, but I can't find any. Anyone know of one, anyway? Jannifer
This is common in armor design for PC games. I've seen it in Skyrim also. I don't know of any mod that fixes this issue specifically. In order to fix it, you'd have to adjust the mesh and texture on every single set of armor and/or gauntlets so that they all go with each other, which is not an easy task. What we're looking at here is just an artifact of game design. Just to clarify things, a lot of people call things "bugs" which aren't actually bugs. Bugs are mistakes, places where the game is broken -- a key object is missing, a quest doesn't start, dialogue doesn't trigger properly, things like that. :)
Revolvist
Yeah I had the idea this wouldn't be an easy task. I don't agree that this is an artifact of game design though, although I guess it's not uncommon in RPG's. The thing being: every other armor combination (I know) doesn't show gaps, so they've obviously worked with some kind of size standard this armor deviates from. I do agree with you about the bug thing though, that is why I didn't mention the word ;)
