Archgaull
Hello all, new to the forum so if this resurrects or is covered, please just point me to it and delete this thread. I recently ordered some parts to build my own PC, and though I'm certain the system can run Skyrim, I'm curious as to how the presence of mods would affect it. My specs are: Intel i5-4690K (3.5 GHz Quad Core) no overclock planned as of now, EVGA GeForce GTX 750 ti 2gb FTW w/ ACX cooling edition, and 8 gb of DDR3 1866 RAM. How would this run Skyrim with say Immersive armors and weapons, and Faskaar on it? I've tried to find information about how much performance certain mods can take, but I've been out of luck in finding it.
notmyhome
Pretty well. 2 gig of VRAM and 8 gig of regular RAM should be good enough for 1k textures for everything and 2k textures for some elements. ENBs might be the only point where you'll have to look for "performance" options.

saurusmaximus
I have essentially the same video card (mine was made by MSI) and I use Skyrim 2k textures for towns and dungeons, and the "lite" (lower res) version for the stuff out in the world, Realvision ENB (performance edition), along with a couple flora mods and I generally run 45+ fps with only an occasional stutter. As far as overall game performance goes, pay close attention to your load order when adding mods (there are PLENTY of threads on that). Things like armor and weapon mods don't affect performance too much (unless you get a lot of the crazy 4k models). Falskaar is basically just another worldspace in Skyrim so that won't affect anything.
