BoomersEatTacos
I'm fairly new to modding Fallout, I was initially turned off by the need of 3rd party programs, but I have seen the light and have started to take advantage of a few of the wonderful mods created! But alas, after screwing around with my load order a few times, I find that my game still freezes after I engage certain enemies in the game. I can usually bypass the freeze by letting other people kill the enemy (e.g. letting the brotherhood dispatch the foes on the 'march to GNR' quest) but I can usually only shoot at an enemy a few times before my game completely freezes. I actually have a comparatively small load order, and I'm not fully convinced that load order IS the main cause. M48A5
Move Fellout to the bottom of your load list. Arrange the RH_Ironsights plugins so they are in the same order as the vanilla game. If you have a processor with more than 2 cores, you need to edit the Fallout.ini to limit the CPU to only two cores. See the stickied post on the opening page of Fallout 3 Technical Support. Also, you equipment specifications would be a great help. Edited December 1, 2014 by M48A5
BoomersEatTacos
Oops, sorry about that Processor: intel core i5-3330 GPU: Nvidia GTX 760 RAM: 8GB Edit: I found out it was a problem with my CPU and Fallout 3 apparently has a long running history of crashing on people with CPU's over two cores. I fixed it with your .ini recommendation. Many Thanks! :) Edited December 3, 2014 by BoomersEatTacos
