droidyboy
Hi! I've been on nexusmods for a very long time now (started visiting your site since my days with Oblivion) I'm not gonna sweeten this up or asskiss (pardon my french) anyone for this post around 48hrs ago I suddenly got a blacklist error from nexusmods.com (I was about to d/l this mod my friend recommended *Command Dragons* since I just finished my Dragonborn DLC) error given was "Your ip [125.60.156.156] is on our black list" I'm actually MIND BOGGLED as to what warranted this sanction I NEVER posted anything here, I NEVER posted anything on the nexusmods site, and I NEVER even bothered conversing with anyone in this community till now... I am basically a "LURKER" in your site just downloading some awesome mods... just asking to get this checked... P.S. Oh and on a sidenote...I posted my IP address on purpose since that is a UNIVERSAL IP address that my ISP provides "dynamically"... most of the people here in our country who uses that ISP will have this IP... AT THE SAME TIME... **I know it's ridiculous but that's how they roll...
TheVampireDante
That particular IP was used by a repeatedly offending (and now banned) site user - since he also created multiple accounts to bypass the initial ban he received the IP was locked. So nothing to do with yourself, apart from the unfortunate situation of have the IP in your rota.
droidyboy
So, I'm basically banned together with said person? I don't think that's good...I can only access your site from work and am not able to D/L anything here... I'm screwed then? Is that it?
reindeer51
I used to have that "IP banned" glitch as well. Got it randomly every now and then when I visited the site. No longer do I have the problem, thankfully. Just keep refreshing your browser and it should fix itself. If not, then it could be a bigger problem on your end.
