Please excuse the long message below, but it'll help you realize my situation better.My character is now a level 18 or so Nord; and I'm sure we all know that Nords aren't exactly born Mages, so I joined the Mages Guild a few levels ago. I began with the Balmora quests, and I decided that I'd get rid of Ranis Athrys the Balmora Steward in the 'Telvanni Spy' quest she gives me because I had never done that before (and she's an annoying NPC). The pint is, I can't get any more quests from Balmora, obviously, with the Steward gone there. And prior to my joining the Mages' Guild I had already explored almost every Dwemer ruin (bar the ones on Red Mountain), and had collected a lot of stuff; so when I went to the Ald'Ruhn branch the STeward automaticaly assumed she had given me some quests: which is impossible because a) I had never been there and B) I wasn't advanced enough in the Mages' Guild for her to be giving me quests. (The point is coming, bear with me :P) So now I would like to do more duties for the Mages' Guild, but Balmora is out, nobody in Caldera will give me duties for some reason, Trebonius in Vivec just gave me the crackpot "Disappearance of the Dwarves" quest, Edwinna in Ald'Ruhn has no more duties for me, (and here's the point) and Skink-In-Tree's-Shade in the Wolverine Hall says he doesn't have quests for me. Because he's doing a freakin' Detect Creatures Potion for Edwinna!! Whew. Now, I figured that if I could somehow get my hands on a Detect Creatures Potion and bring it to Edwinna, her AI will assume she had given me the quest, and I would get it out of the way, therefore leaving Skink available to give me duties. But I haven't found any DCPs on anybody, I don't know the ingredients (my alchemy skill is fairly high), so I figure the quickest way out of this mess is to turn to the console. So my question is (after all that crap above ;)) what is the code for a Detect Creatures Potion in the console, if there even is one??I tried looking it up with the Construction Kit but I'm hopeöess with it.. :unsure: HELP! If there are any more, just say which topics appear and I'll fetch seom more console commands. Making a potion of Detect Creatures will definetly not help, nor will just bringing Edwinna a Detect Creatures potion. You have to fix your Journal to set the quests as not completed. What is the code (SetJournalIndex MG_???) for the Detect Creatures potion quest? I tried several, but none of them worked..And sorry Pob but your potion idea didn't work either. The potion was a success, but Edwinna's AI didn't pick up on it. ;) EDIT: Marxist nevermind, I found it. MG_Potion, right? God, I tried everything except that! :D RE-EDIT: It still didn't work!! Seem to remeber those things don't work (when you make your own) you often have to buy one (an example is the temple shrine with the lev potion) or get it from someone in partcular.
