  1. Prefer the original, much easier on the eyes. Also like semi swirl but have now gone back to the original
  2. I have noticed that (generally) what is more important than a high skill is the high related stat (not the case with some skills, but is with others). In partcular agility in combat seems to determine your chance to hit, so high agility hits more often and while high skill helps, high stat has more influence. This may influence why the bow isn't working properly
  3. Exactly. We all have our own idea of perfection/utopia. In my Utopia no one has to waorry about survial (ie food, water, etc) and humanity stives to make it self better (or the individuals within it strive to make themselves better). While perfection remains in many ways an unacheviable goal, if we aim for perfection we will acheive something better. If we aim for something better we will acheive something mediocre
  4. It is the Trib beginning to be attacked by the DB (you get a journal entry) and then you need to speak to a gaurd (anyone will do) Had a thought about the bow. The bow is held in the right hand and the arrow fired on the right hand side, this may be why the bow pulls a little to the right.
  5. Nope, but you have to rest before you get the trigger for the Mournhold quests. Are you in 1st or 3rd person for firing a bow? makes a difference. If you are in 1st and have the crosshairs on (you need to really for firing a bow) it will fire at whatever the cross is pointing at (not exactly, but you get the hang of it after a while)
  6. Its not bad, but there are better out there. Great for the first time you play as it makes the game a little easier to start and means you need to worry less about multiplers. Not worth it once you have some experience there are better ones out the.
  7. Okay one at a time. the difference between endurance at 100 at level 4 vs level 12 is hitpoints. If you reach 100 early you will get more hp. The higher your starting endurance the higher your starting hp. You get your endurance divided by 10 each level in hp round down. Therefore 95 endurance is 9 hp 100 endurance is 10 hp. Max starting is 85 endurance so you could have 100 by level 4
  8. My two cents worth Atronach is the best sign by far you can make/buy potions and the spell absoption is just ace. Lady is also good, but you can get them high anyway, it just makes the beginning game easier. The races seem reasonably well balanced, beast races are a little harder as they are a bit more limited in the armour you can wear. Bretons make good mages, kahjit good theives and orcs/redgaurds/nords good fighters although nords get good racial bonuses Argonians/Dark eleves get a mix of bonuses and make good all rounders Use custom classes so wouldn't know about classes
  9. Hulking Fabricants (the scorpion like ones) have souls. Venoumous fabricants (the nessie ones) don't. Both are machines.
  10. Good point about the fever, makes you see things in a different light. It is perhaps worth noting that I was reading one thread the other day and someone had said something and then noted that they where drunk (or had been up all night or something) and they apologised for any offence. This casued me to read the post in a whole different light and maybe be more forgiving. Worth thinking about putting something like that in posts, it will change how we see the posts people put, not too much detail mind, but enough so we unbderstand if its been a bad day/3 in the morning/ too much coffee etc
  11. If I could be so bold as to make a minor note to the above post, MB? Since this is in the Spoilers section please note, Spolier appraoching You can technically join the Talos Cult as it is one of the Imperial Legion quests, to infilrate them and find out about their plans. You could choose not to steal there plans and so not have to kill them, but as far as I know they have no quests to give you and you can't advance in them. Once you attack them you leave the cult (well get kicked out and they are all dead)
  12. Cliff Racer wings have two propites (for alchemy) Leviate and Drain Willpower (hm, they certainly drain me of the will to live)
  13. Not sure if this is a funny ha ha moment, but definatly a funny odd moment. was heavily in to a game of MW and in game it was raining. My flatmate came in and asked if I wanted to go to the pub and I said "no thnaks its raining" He said "no it aint" and I turned round and looked out of the window and it was a sunny spring day. I need to get out more
  14. While you don't meer an emporer crab in game there is one who has "donated" his shell to making the manor district in ald'ruhn
  15. Cliff racers are annoying. Found the goblins scary the first time I meet them because they are well hard for goblins. Same with golden saint, how can anything that sacry look so cute
  16. it would have to be the imperial cult. They get the coolest stuff and you get to feel good about yourself
