Lets have some more books!

Heya!

I've been thinking about making a mod/requesting a mod for adding more books to Oblivion! As in just copy/pasting texts into the game. I'm the sort of Roleplayer who'll sit down for a while with a book, and i've been growing board of the repetitive boring books that have shipped with the game.

Before you go; "USE THE SEARCH BUTTON" I of course have, and I don't need any more sex books, thanks, I have enough. Thats pretty much all that seems to be there.

I can link some e-book sites to copy the texts from, or just copy/paste them in here.

Cheers,

Malarwyn

For lore friendly books, here you go --

Or, using these resources:

You could just copy and paste real books from Project Gutenberg into the game. (Wasn't that done with Morrowind? I remember seeing a mod that did that, actually.)

Or, for real grimoire texts that a mage might read, try here:

I think these should get whoever wants to take this on started; using the resources above, making books in the CS should be cake. =D I'd be interested in making the grimoires myself -- some of them, particularly the hermetic stuff, have some pretty cool looking diagrams that would add a lot to a magic type quest mod -- but I'm busy working on something else. )= I hope this was helpful, though!
