Modding THEN DLC

Recommended Posts

Okay, so I got Oblivion and modded it like crazy. Got the GOTY edition two days ago and installed that too. But I use OBMM in order to run my mods since the whole extracting to the data folder doesnt work for me for some reason. So, I have to use the "Launch Oblivion" button on OBMM in order to get the mods to work cause they don't work if I don't run it through OBMM. Now, when I do that the mods work but Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine dont. However, when I use the Oblivion Launcher the Shivering Isles does work. I have a character thats a mod race and I wanna do shivering isles with them rather than the character I have now. Basically I can have super mods or DLC. Any help on having them both would be appreciated.

Use BOSS to sort your load order if you haven't done so. Make sure all the plugins you're using are activated in the modlist. If you "modded it like crazy" you should get Wrye Bash and use a Bashed Patch to make sure everything is working together.

The BOSS and Wrye Bash. What are those and where do I get them? Its not that I modded like crazy its just that I have about 30 mods running on one game. But I can't get the DLC to run with them. I turn one on and the other shuts off. So, I think if I can find the .esp files for the DLC then I could just add them as mods into the Manager. Right? But i can't find them so I need a path to get to them.

The "Search" function on Nexus works wonders :)
