Could someone please tell me how to access an npc's inventory thro

yes... I tried using pack guars, however they did not work, and I wanted my ow porters. So I studied the pack guars script, which didn't help, and looked through a bunch of scripting info on the wiki, but that didn't give me the right info either. So could someone show me some commands or help sites to get me started?

There is a mod called "toaster says share" that is a companion mod that will allow you to access the inventory of any npc. You can also tell them to follow you, and so you have your own porter. I'm not sure if thats what you were looking for.

You can also share using Midas Magic, which has a "hand it over!" spell-quite a funny one too, since it lets you trade inventory items, but also temporarily makes the npc you're trading with strip to their underwear.

 

Companion Manager by Team Cutthroat, another truly excellent mod, has a share command via talking to them, this lets you give them things, take their things, but also keeps them fully clothed.

 

If you go with CM, then you can also change their EQUIPED GEAR. Give them a weapon or armour and they'll equip that, the ai is really kinda smart, give em a bow, arrows, and light armour, and they'll get the message and go sniper.

thanks, i have been trying out toaster's mod as i cannot find companion manager. Interesting, though I'm having some problems with it.
