gurnavaj Posted December 6, 2014 Share Posted December 6, 2014 I've checked every forum discussion I could find, and nothing has helped. I'm an avid Skyrim player who decided to try and mod some things, and it was working great! The problems started when I tried to install and use SKSE. No matter what I do (use the installer, install manually with help from the youtube video, reinstall repeatedly), I can't get it to work! Every time I try to open Skyrim (Vanilla, through NMM, with the skse.loader), it just shows me the Bethesda logo-screen, then closes out. Video here: Then watch this video and use TES5EDIT as he prescribes: I'm guessing one of those will find your problem. The type of crash you describe is usually a mod loading and looking for something that isn't there.
