Short Thank You to Modding Community

I have to say, Nexus has improved my gaming experience across most of my favorite PC games. I have a lot of issues with vanilla Fallout 3, but the *amazing* work done by the FWE people makes it one of my favorite and most fun games to play. I am *astounded* by the Oblivion mods that overhaul entire cities and moved by the mods across many games where people have come together to make full quests-- sometimes the length of retail products!

 

I'm not so adept at creating content, so this is like magic for me. It amazes me that people across the Nexus sites, from gameworld content producers to people who work on textures and lighting, do such thorough and exhaustive work without expecting money for it. That people put such passion and effort into their hobby, that they're so dedicated to creation is a really moving thing. It proves that gaming is a positive hobby full of bright and talented people.

 

Of course, the people who made this site deserve praise, too. I remember messing up multiple installations and having to reinstall Fo3 and Oblivion because I was bad at load orders and file placement when I was younger, so the NMM is a wonderful -and easily accessable- tool. The layout of the sites is attractive, crisp, and easy to navigate.

 

Once again, thank you Nexus community! It's really amazing how much great work has been put into these games and how much imagination and determination the community shows.
