LHammonds
GIMP is an abbreviation for GNU Image Manipulation Program and allows you to create and edit images similar to Adobe Photoshop with the exception that it is free and works on a wide variety of operating systems. You will most-likely need additional plugins to work with DDS files. You can find everything you need at TESNexus page or you can download the plugins individually from their source location: DDS Plugin (alternate site), Normal Map Plugin (alternate site) You can also find a list of DDS tools on the Oblivion CS Wiki site. LHammonds
Feel free to reply here and let us know of any additional tutorials or tutorial sites that are out there in the wild that we do not know about. Also, feel free to post any requests for tutorials. I will try to keep a compiled collection of requests on the 2nd post. Bare in mind that requests are generally for ANYONE to complete...not specific to an individual. List of requested tutorials (number on the end is how many times it has been requested) None yet. Eiries
Epic tutorials by pekka. Old and dusty, so some points may not match up exactly to the new build, but still infinitely useful nonetheless. Make sure that you have the authors permission that you can use the file. On Deviantart the author puts in the artists comment if the file is for free use or are there any restrictions. LHammonds
Thanks for letting us know. The absolute best place for those would be on the Nexus wiki. The YouTube video tag is broken at the moment but it is on the list to get fixed. Examples: Blender video on adding texturesBlender video on convex collision Thanks,LHammonds

LHammonds
Hmmm I have never edited a wiki in my life, so I wouldn't know how to add them to it....Wiki pages are pretty-darn easy. The main thing is choosing the best title. Once you have a solid title, you search for that title and when it doesn't find it, you tell it to create the page, then put in the wiki-formatted code. How to post a new wikiPosting guidelines and template The Blender examples I linked you to would make excellent "templates" for you to use. When viewing the page, click "View Source" and copy everything on that page into a blank notepad. Then change the text and links to make it into your own. If necessary, change the categories at the bottom. Then paste it into that new page you started and use the "Preview" button to observer what it would look like and make any changes you need before saving it.
