illys
I like this mod, but I really need some help! I have been trying to debug and have had to reinstall my game multiple times- it's defnately DarkUID Darn creating the issue. Namely, when I start a new game and get to the slaying of the Mystic Dawn agents, I cannot use the Container menus after clicking on them. The Container menu for their corpses will come up, but I cannot take anything from them. Clicking anywhere in the menu closes it without taking, depositing, or changing my inventory in any way, whether I click on 'take all' or just some random part of the menu. The problem persists when I deactivate DarkUID DaRN in OBMM- the menus change back to the oblivion standard, but I cannot take items from any container menus. Please help! Details: Using Steam GOTY Oblivion on Windows 7. Load order is attached beneath, all activated Mods show green in Wyre Bash, DarkUID is installed using OBMM.---- Have found it is Not a DarkUID problem but a problem with the version of Oblivion I have downloaded. :/ After installing and uninstalling so many times. Am beginning to wonder if this is an issue with Oblivion and win 7.
DavidBudreck
I remember this issue having been discussed on these forums before. I don't use DarkUI or Darnified, so I'm sorry, I don't remember the fix. Try using the search function, it's in here somewhere...

illys
Narrowed it down at last- it was happening whenever I was using in-inventory configuration menus- it'd break the container menu, and I'd have to do a fresh reinstall all over again. What I did was... install windows XP. The problem is related to Windows 7. The container bug isn't happening any more. Kind of defeating the purpose of an advanced OS.. You can still play the game with the mods in question IF you don't touch the configuration menus put in the inventory by scripts!
DavidBudreck
Sorry about doing XP, but you probably didn't need to go that far... If you install the game in a neutral Non-Default location, like c:\games\oblivion or some such, then the User Access Controls of Windows 7 don't get in the way.
