I would like a Sload

Also, since I'm assuming that you wanted it to do something more than stand there like a statue, you would need new animations. Unfortunately, new animations aren't possible right now. Maybe in another 2-3 years once they have the coding figured out, and come up with a way of making new animations.

Actually, I am pretty sure this poster is referring to the Sloads in Elder Scrolls culture. We find mention of them in books and use one of their exports in Morrowind. (Sload soap.)

From what I've gathered, they are kind of like a cross between an octopus a slug and a person. They are despised by the other races and seem to hold all species but themselves in contempt.

I always wondered where that Sload Soap came from. Shame you couldn't kill them and make your own soap in Morrowind.

Well I was totally off. Is there a concept drawing of a sload anywhere? If they're a cross between a slug, a human and an octupus they're probably going to be a pain to model. I suppose you could simply modify a troll to have octopus features though - they're fairly close to the ground and move in a handily strange way.

If you want to know exactly what a sload looks like play Redguard, N'Gasta is a sload and yes I want both the model and the texture. I don't think animations would be a problem it only has to slither like a slug and cast magic.

Texture = easy

Model = not so easy

Animations = impossible

To get ANY animations to work, you would need the proper settings in the model. I hope these things have 2 arms and 2 legs, or you're looking at another problem. If they do, even doing some heavy alterations to one of the standard face meshes would take alot of work to look right, and the tentacles would kinda hang there clipping with everything. If they aren't something that has human looking arms, torso, groin, and legs you're looking at the impossible. First, you need the meshing done, then you need to add animation keys to the mesh. Then you need the animations to work on those keys. Then, since this is considdered a creature now, you better hope that this thing never talks. If it does, you better just go ahead and get familiar with this as once the improbable task of meshing and animating is done, you'll need to figure out how to make that work with your mod.
