CHALLENGE!Are you ready for it?

Hey Guys!

 

 

I opened up a topic a while ago asking : can you survive as a marksman.People answered me that yes you can and it's actually easy.So yes, it is easy been there done that.But now I want to try something new,and I would like to challenge you guys to try this with me.Start either a pure mage(no weapons or anything)..maybe a small dagger,or a PURE melee fighter.Again no weapons only restoration spells.Try that and post how it felt or what do you think about it!

You may want to specify if mods are in or not. With Midas Magic, pure mage can be disgustingly powerful. Without Midas, what about Supreme Magicka/LAME? Personally, when I did it without LAME or SM I found it pretty tedious. Still easy enough, but the overwhelming majority of spells were not worth using without a magic overhaul.

 

I have done a pure melee fighter using Hand to Hand. Easier than Marksman, which you have noted is not that bad, and going with a weapon is a lot easier than Hand to Hand (especially if you have a shield too). Potions are plentiful (I had an enormous stockpile of extra potions I never used), and once I got enough levels under my belt I found I was sleeping before I needed healing (I play with a mod that requires you to sleep each night). Pure melee is as easy as it gets without some hybridising.

Sounds like an interesting challenge, I think I'll try it. Small question though, the only mods I use are a few clothing mods and one race mod and a body mod, nothing else. Is that still alright or should I start completely vanilla?

Yes that is fine, but no mods that could change the initial experience like magic mods or mods that would add power to hand to hand.
