A few mods not working

Im having difficulties with Reneers Guard Overhaul mod, there are various problem: The notes about this mod had said that If you manage to kill all the Guards that witnessed your crime, that crime gold will be removed. If a Guard notices that you are sneaking around, they will follow you closely until you stop sneaking around. You are also able to bribe Guards to leave their posts. Say you want to rob a store, but there is a Guard sitting right outside. Just bribe him, and he will wander off. If he sees you committing a crime, though, he will still come after you. As for many other parts of this mod, but these are the ones I want to try and get fixed now.

 

The last mod is Attack and Hide 2.1, being able to shoot someone from a distance and not be chased after, the person is not suppose to know where you are or where you shot from, but that isnt working.

 

I realized that Reneers Overhaul has a similar effect, so I deactivated Attack and Hide to see what would happen, but it was still the same.

Your mod load order is completely haywire. Before you can troubleshoot with any meaning, you have to sort your load order out with BOSS , and then rebuild your Bashed Patch.

I know, but Boss does not recognize some mods, so I re-arrange them myself, and I have made a bashed patch already for a prior problem.

 

I did use Boss before, so thats why many of the Better cities/OOO/Unique landscapes are placed that way, due to boss, but other mods were incorrectly place, so I changed them. Reneers mod shouldnt conflict with any mod I have, but regardless, I changed the order of where Reneer loads, but still nothing happened.

 

And as another question, the last time I made a bashed patch, was for All Natural, and I needed to import the cells from All Natural.esp, SI, and Interior...something or other, and that was it. So Im still relatively new to using Bash patches or Wrye Bash all together, I still dont see why someone needs to do something called Bash patching, but I did it due to a comment made from my previous topic problem.

I'm sorry, but BOSS did not order your list the way that it is in those images...nowhere near. The purpose of a Bashed patch is to remove, or rather eleviate, mod conflicts by incorporating them into the patch. You don't use the patch for one mod, and then forget about it. When you have as many mods as you do, you should run BOSS and then Bash every single time that you install/remove/edit a mod -- that is, if you want to have Oblivion run without conflicts. Your Bashed Patch is number 13 in the load order, when it should be virtually last -- there are only a few mods that should run after it.

 

Again, trying to troubleshoot so many mods with the load order you have it virtually pointless.

 

[Edit] On a side note: when you post a load list, please use Wrye Bash. Right click on the File tab and select 'List mods...', the copy/paste the complete contents, including the [ Spoiler [[ Code ][ /Code][ /Spoiler] bits. This will list the mods in a collapsible spoiler box.

I do not know what you meant by including the spoiler[

] thing. And I used Boss. but now all my mods are out of place, Unique landscapes as said by author should be loaded at the bottom as well as better cities, Boss, did not do anything near that, thats why I avoid using Boss.

 

Underneath the file tab, I clicked list mods, but how would I post the collapsible list?

In Wrye Bash look at Oblivion.esm. Right above that it says 'File' -- right click on that and select List Mods. It will show a window with a list of your mods like so:

I have put spaces after the [ so that the forum doesn't catch the code.

 

If you used BOSS, with the latest masterlist.txt, then the only mods that will be out of place are those that BOSS does not recognise, which will not be that many. Unique Landscapes should NOT be loaded last, and they are fully covered by BOSS.

Did you include the ending code boxes [/ ?

 

Please download the latest masterlist.txt file from that link I gave you, and it will cover:

Moonshadow Elves - NoSc.esp

That will leave the only esp that BOSS doesn't recognise, as Blank.esp (odd name).

 

Once you have installed the new masterlist.txt and re-ran BOSS, rebuild your Bashed Patch and see if it alleviates the symptoms you described.

Yes I included the *Code* at the top and bottom, but there were no *spoiler* words that you spoke of.

 

I already have the Masterlist.txt, and those mods that you described above are the ones that Boss does not recognize, and I dont know how to make a bashed patch the way your asking me to, Ive only made one for All natural, All natural SI, and its Interiors add-on.
