TheIrontoads
Hi, I have an idea for a mod that I believe won't be hard for someone who knows what they're doing but is beyond my rudimentary skills. I would like to have fellow adventurers come and try to kill your character if you play as an evil one. These heroes/vigilantes believe no matter how many heroic acts you do in addition to your evil ones, you've shown you're too dangerous to be allowed to live. How strong these NPCs are should depend on how powerful and dangerous you are for a challenging and appropriate encounter. Cause trouble in Riverwood at the beginning of the game and maybe a fellow new adventurer will try and bring you to justice. At very high levels walk into a hold capital and slaughter/beat to the ground everyone from the beggars to the Jarl and prove that the guards are powerless to stop you, and you're likely to attract the attention of a party of epic heroes that will test if you have what it takes to be a real Tamriel supervillain. I'm fine with having these adventurers come after you if you have a bounty, but what I'm really interested in is for them to hunt you based on other factors. These adventurers wouldn't care about your current status with the law, but about your actions. A high total lifetime bounty and low number of days imprisoned means your wealth prevents the law from truly bringing you to justice. If you commit many crimes, especially murder, without getting a bounty, well, turns out some people in Skyrim have investigative abilities beyond needing to actually catching you in the act. Plus, you're probably either a stranger in town or someone who's known to be capable of killing, either way there should be more suspicion on you. Maybe some heroes would be reluctant to go after you when you're at certain stages of the main quest, after all the world needs you to defeat Alduin. But after that, if you've achieved your destiny as Dragonborn and are now causing more destruction than Alduin ever did, be sure as an evil Dragonborn you'll be the next biggest threat to the world in the eyes of these characters. That should keep the game a bit more interesting at higher levels, and keep your villainous character from doing whatever he wants to without consequences. At the very least, you'll always have to be on alert for these do-gooders. They don't mind apprehending you at home, or when you're already in the middle of an intense fight, in fact those would be the best times for them to appear. Or maybe if that's too annoying we could make it optional, and they only apprehend you when you're in public. So, is anyone interested in this? I'd be willing to help work on it if anyone will teach me how. I also have a question as it's my first time posting here: is it considered rude to post multiple ideas in one topic? I have lots of ideas for mods of varying complexity, but I don't want to be making lots of requests with nothing to contribute but ideas. So I'll just post this idea this time. Thanks everyone. Teabone3
I find the dawnguard come after me more frequent that I would like, when doing the vampire quests or remaining as vampire.
