syphonfx
Hi everyone, first time poster long time reader, First off the bat, I am a relative scrub when it comes to mod creation but have been a long time player and mod-user of Oblivion. I have a basic question that hopefully doesn't sound too out there: Xander's Angels and Heroes mod (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5294) consists of facegen data that has been imported into the game via .ess or save files. While I understand how to export Facegen files to Oblivion in this process, is it possible to do the reverse? That is, can I take an .ess file and extract the facegen data for texture manipulation? Thanks much for reading and even more an appreciation for letting me pick your brains!
Deleted1217574User
Not sure. I'm no good when it comes to utilities. The one thing I can recommend doing would be install a mod that shows the values and whatnot on the CharGen menu, then use the console command "showracemenu" for the save you want, and then copy down the numbers, before re-entering them into wherever it is you want. LFact
I think focon can export face to .fg file, however since it's 'very old', it may not work depend on race and used head mesh, and other things. Also, even if you can export your face, the result can be unworkable.
