MMM and francesco's conflict????

One really good feuture I like about Francesco's overhaul is that it significantly increases the rarity of good loot (increasing the difficulty of the game and making money more important). I'm using francesco's mod along with MMM and according to the MMM installation, it is compatible with francesco's only if the MMM files (and a special file) are loaded after francesco's when using OBMM (oblivion mod manager).

 

My question is: Does the item rarity feuture for francesco's mod get over-written by MMM, so that good loot is no longer rare? This is what seems to me because I seem to be able to find reletively good loot even at level 1 (or maybe I was just lucky?).

All of those big game mechanic altering mods seek to improve on the same aspects of the game. Lots of people have tried to get them working together, and some of them went ahead and made the FCOM mod. Its huge and a total hassel to install, but the game is so much better afterwards.

Yeah, your right, but for me the problem is the download size. I have very shitty internet, so I'm limited to about one large download per month, and then my internet goes down to dial up speed. So far I've downloaded MMM and Fran's, but there's two more major mods that I need to download before I can download and use FCOM. In the meantime, I'll be using MMM and frans combined. But back to my question: Does MMM conflict with the rare-loot feuture in fran's mod (when good loot becomes hard to find, increasing the economic difficulty of the game)? Because at the moment I'm getting reletively good loot even with the settings set to extra-hardcore (where good loot is incredibly rare).
