Description

The RAD Video Tools are a set of utilities for processing video, animation, and sound data. They feature both of our video codecs: Bink Video, our latest 24-bit true-color codec, and Smacker, our 8-bit 256-color codec.

 

The RAD Video Tools give you everything you need to create, use, and distribute Bink and Smacker video files! They include the compressors, sound mixers, players, and general graphics and sound converters.

 

The RAD Video Tools can even compile Bink or Smacker files into EXE files for self-running stand-alone videos (the player is bundled into the EXE file, so the user doesn't need to download anything else!)

hey I have an idea it isnt really a great tutorial But I did add one underneth one of my vids, to turn a Video file into a screen saver Would that be good ?

Steps to turn a video into a screensaver

1. Download this video using a downloader

2. Download Rad game tools from http://www.radgametools.com/bnkmain.htm

3. Install Rad Tools

4. Bring up Rad tools and select this Video in the explorer and select Blink it

5, Wait for the process to complete

6. click the blink video just created then select advanced play

7. select make .exe

8. select turn into screen saver

9. wait for process to complete

10. your screensaver is complete if on windows vista or higher right click select install on your new screen saver
