Companion Recommendations?

So, I'm looking to add some companions to my game, and I'm looking for some suggestions.

A few notes first, though:

1) I've tried Viconia DeVir, but couldn't stand her attitude

2) I've completed Ruined-Tail's Tale

3) I've completed Bladesong, which caused errors with my game (I could no longer fast-travel with that character)

4) I'm only interested in female companions

 

So, if anyone has any suggestions, aside from those I've mentioned that I've tried, I'd appreciate it!

I would recommend you try "Companion Vilja" located here: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28977. The mod has no other requirements unless you want to change her race, her scripting is well done, and she comes with a decent sized quest that advances based partially on how much time you spend talking and adventuring with her. It is certainly one of the best companion mods out there.

I also did not like Viconia; she got on my nerves after a day or two, so I uninstalled the mod.

 

I have tried most of the popular companion mods (never tried Ruined-Tail), but Vilja 2.x was the only one I liked. Her AI is so far above and beyond the others that it is not funny, she is fully voiced, and I like the way she interacts outside combat. The more recent patches have been seeing her get ever better still. It has got to the point where I cannot be bothered with the other companions, as Vilja puts them all to shame.
