predcon
I just started a new game after not having played it in a while, and this comes right after having played a run of Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, which is one of those first person games where you can look down and see your feet and all. I can't remember if Oblivion was one of those, and I can't find any screenies in the manual or on the back of the box that show the player looking at the ground. I'm playing the GOTY edition with the Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles expansions, and all the mini-expansions sold and downloaded from the Bethesda online shop. I also have all three UOPs installed, and installed them in the following order: Unofficial Oblivion Patch (for main content), Unofficial Official Mods Patch (for Knights of Nine and the mini-expansions), and Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch. My player's model renders correctly when I press Tab to bring up my stats and inventory screen, and my arms render correctly when I "arm" myself. I actually don't recall having any problems with the game when I played it all the way through without the UOPs. Do they add any graphical improvements or anything? What "major" bugs do they fix that weren't fixed in Bethesda's final "official" patch?
Fonger
Your post is all over the place these are the only questions that I can parse out of it Do they add any graphical improvements or anything? bben46
If I understand correctly. Your question is asking if you can see any part of your characters body in first person - the answer to that is - Only the hands and arms. While in first person there is no body. So , looking down you will not see any feet when in first person view. To see the body, switch to 3rd person view.

Too much time playing Source games.
